At Premier Homecare Services we look after people with dementia and we know that people with this illness need to be understood and respected. We know the importance of helping people with dementia retain their sense of identity and feeling of self-worth.

Our care workers will help the client feel valued; they will act with courtesy and always respect the clients’ privacy.

We will help the person feel good about themselves and we are aware that despite the fact that dementia affects peoples thinking, reasoning and memory, the persons feelings remain intact.

We will give the person choice, encourage independence and make everyday tasks and activities a positive experience.

We also understand that support extends to our client’s family and friends who can often feel unsupported and under pressure.
